Music Conference Alberta is Alberta’s premier conference for music educators. The conference includes sessions designed for elementary music teachers, choral conductors, band directors, and studio instructors. Since its inception in 2007, Music Conference Alberta has been a proud collaboration between the Alberta Band Association, Alberta Choral Federation, Alberta Music Education Foundation, Alberta Kodaly Association and Alberta Guild of English Handbell Ringers.
Music Conference Alberta provides an opportunity for musicians and music educators from across the province to attend workshop sessions, concerts, master classes, and social events. The conference is host to a large trade fair which includes more than 40 exhibitors annually. In addition, Alberta’s music education awards are presented at the MCA delegate luncheon.
